Vitals: Journalism and Mass Communications Major
Goals: I want to learn as much about the culture has possible. I have never lived outside the Midwest in America, so I am anxious to meet and get to know the natives of my host country, London. I want to visit as many sights, museums, plays and restaurants has possible to understand a culture different from my own. Also, London is close to many other European countries; I want to take advantage of this and travel to at least three other countries during the spring semester.
Motivation: Study Abroad has been in my plans since I started college. College is a great time to travel because the programs the school has available gives students great resources and opportunities for travel that they might not get later in life. Many of my friends and family have studied or lived abroad in college and I have heard amazing stories. I love travel and have traveled around the United States but am ready for a new experience overseas!
Previous overseas travel: None overseas, the only other country I’ve been to is Mexico.
